Basch Keegan & Spada was voted by the readers of Chronogram Magazine, a popular publication in the region, as one of the Best Law Firms in the Hudson Valley. The same readers also voted Attorney Derek Spada as the #1 Best Lawyer in the Hudson Valley for the second year in a row.
We are excited to have earned these “Chronogrammy” awards, as they are cleverly called by the magazine, especially because this is not the first time our team has been recognized in this way.

Voting for the 2025 awards started in January with a nomination round. In April, the businesses and individual professionals with the most nominations in each category were announced as finalists, which began the official voting phase for Chronogram readers. In mid-May, the voting period ended, and the votes were tabulated. We feel that the intricacy of the nomination and voting process lends to the importance of these Readers’ Choice Awards; after all, everything we do at Basch Keegan & Spada is for our clients, who are all locals, neighbors, community members, and friends throughout the Hudson Valley.
When hearing that he was once again voted as one of the “Best Lawyers in the Hudson Valley,” Attorney Spada said, “It is validating when hard work and success are recognized.”
