Annual Stuffing Drive for People's Place

Since 2017, Basch & Keegan has held a Thanksgiving Stuffing Drive to benefit People’s Place of Ulster County. The Talkin’ Turkey program through People’s Place provides a turkey and all the “fixings” for a Thanksgiving feast to households who pre-register during October and November. People’s Place feeds thousands of families in Ulster County every year.

Basch & Keegan organizes a community stuffing drive and asks for donations to be delivered to our offices. We typically match each box of stuffing donated with another side which is requested from People’s Place. We have donated butter, gravy, cranberry sauce and simply more stuffing in years past. Our lawyers then hand-deliver the donations to People’s Place a few days before Thanksgiving.

Every year we are amazed by how the community comes together for this good cause. Local business, clients, friends and families all come together to help feed those in need each year. In 2022 we broke our record with a donation of 1,123 boxes of stuffing and 800 cans of cranberry sauce donated to People’s Place of Ulster County.
