Fees

You will never pay us out of your pocket.  Ethical requirements for attorneys mandate that we inform you that we are entitled to recover our disbursements at the conclusion of your case, even in the unlikely event that we are unsuccessful.  However, we have never collected our disbursements in any case where we did not obtain a verdict or settlement for our client.

The attorney’s fee for most cases is 1/3 of the recovery, minus disbursements.  Disbursements are payments that we make to prosecute your case, including the fee to file your lawsuit, court fees that we are required to pay as your case progresses, doctors’ fees to send us copies of your medical records, and private investigator costs and stenographer fees.  We do not charge our clients for phone calls, postage, mileage, tolls, photocopying and faxes.
